Stages of Door Production

Manufacturing an Amity interior door follows a precise, repeatable sequence — built to deliver the same quality on the first piece and the thousandth. Here is what that sequence looks like end-to-end.

1. Design

Each project starts on paper. The design team translates the client’s brief — style, dimensions, and finish — into a buildable spec.

2. Material selection

Whether the brief calls for natural or engineered wood, materials are selected against Amity’s indoor-use quality standards. Anything that fails inspection at this stage doesn’t make it onto the line.

3. Cutting and shaping

Panels are processed on advanced machinery to the dimensions defined in the design phase. High-precision cutting is what makes the rest of the build possible.

4. Assembly and prep

The components come together. Joints, hinges, and the internal lamination are assembled, and the door is prepared for finishing — paint or veneer — depending on the client’s choice.

5. Quality check and delivery

Every door is inspected before it leaves the factory. Once it clears QC, it’s wrapped, packaged, and dispatched to the client in its final form.
